Rankings and Levels

Unlike all the other shitty MMO RPG game thingies, there is no LEVELLING UP in Hymené. Everyone is equal. If you buy a god-like item, then you have it. You don't need to have EXPERIENCE or anything to weild it. You start off with a small amount of money, you chose your color, race, and name, and that's it. What you do is up to you.

Hymené is a social fun game, you're supposed to have a laugh. Make money perhaps only when you want to buy a particular item, you don't have to be rich to be the best. In fact, you can just go to an arena and fight, and all the weapons are given to you in that particular place anyway. You could be a legend of Hymené with an empty bag and wallet if you wanted.

Magic however DOES have levels, but only depending on what magical items you carry at that point. The person with a highest magic level (8) isn't always going to be able to beat a level 1. This is because your personal experience is very vital. You can be very wise, so wise in fact, that you may have never even played the game. If you know how to USE magic, a level 1 would EASILY beat a level 8 kiddie wannabie, who doesn't know anything about magic.

Aside from magic, the levels that you might find out (by typing /level for example) are only for administrators and so on. You will all be level 1 by default. Anything above level 1 is an administrator, or staff, or specially trusted client. It doesn't mean they have progressed in the game any more than you have.

Angels

Level 8 is the highest administrator level. Anything above level 4 is an angel. Angels are able to fly, as they have wings, and do many other things. They may recieve your prayers to. To pray type /pray [your prayer].

For example: /pray Help me loads of thugs are after me I'm at soza gardens

All angels online, and the server itself, will recieve your prayers. If you are lucky they might come down and help you - especially if they know you to be a good person. Angels can make themselves INVISIBLE and even exist on a completely different plane of existance. They are forever watching people, to capture the character and spirit of the games relationships and personalities.

People that do good deeds, or follow certain ancient ways as described in the depths of Hymené magic and culture, may be visited by angels and recieve gifts or blessings. That of course is another story.

There might also be Dark Angels. People who have stolen the Light of Eden, the element which dictates your wings or not. Not all angels will be good, but only the good true angels will be able to do administrative commands.

For example, angels have the ability of 'angelic gifts'. They can magic any item they wish, including money, and give it to anyone they want, including themselves. Thus they have infinate items.
